First, there is the Nanny Pass
You purchase a pass for the number of days you require a nanny in Bali. It’s the service fee that keeps our platform running ethically, protects the nannies, and ensures
only the safest, most experienced women look after your children. Most importantly, the fee ensures our nannies keep everything they earn – we don’t charge them any fee or commission.
Next, you pay your nanny
Nannies are paid directly in cash in Indonesian Rupiah at the end of your booking. When you go through the booking process, a quote will give you an estimate of the total cost. Nannies start at 100,000 IDR per hour (approximately AUD$10), depending on the number of children and nannies required.
Nanny Pass Pricing
Our nanny passes are designed so you save more the longer you book. Bali days go fast and most families use more hours than they expect. These bundles give you flexibility and better value at every step.
For each day you purchase, you must book and pay your nanny for a minimum of 5 hours. Any additional hours can be arranged directly with your nanny. Nannies in Bali typically request a minimum of 5 hours per day, which is why we have made this standard.

Nanny Payment Rates
BNC’s nanny rates vary depending on the number of children and nannies required. You will pay this in cash directly to your nanny in Bali.
100,000 IDR converts to around $10 AUD per hour. This is a fantastic rate! Fair for your nanny and great for you. This is what experienced nannies typically charge in Bali.

Additionally, each nanny requires a 100,000 IDR (roughly AUD $10) daily travel fee, payable directly to the nanny. This is the standard in Bali – a fee that every nanny charges.

Pricing example: 10 Nights in Bali, 7 Days of Nanny Support
Imagine you’re in Bali for 10 nights (9 full days) and decide you’d like a nanny for 7 of those days (with a minimum of 5 hours per day).
Here’s how it works:
- Nanny Pass:
- You purchase a 7-day Nanny Access Pass from Bali Nanny Co for $110 AUD. This upfront fee gives you access to pre-book your trusted nanny/s for your holiday.
- Direct Nanny Payment:
- You have 1 child and choose to book a nanny for 6 hours each day.
- The nanny’s rate is 100,000 IDR per hour. For 6 hours, that’s 600,000 IDR per day.
- Over 7 days, the nanny fee is:
600,000 IDR x 7 days = 4,200,000 IDR
- Daily Travel Fee:
- Each day, there is an additional 100,000 IDR travel fee paid directly to the nanny.
- Over 7 days, this totals:
100,000 IDR x 7 days = 700,000 IDR

Yes, of course, you can arrange this directly with your nanny. She will let you know what her overnight fee will be. Keep in mind your nanny will need somewhere to sleep (in the same room as your child is perfectly okay, as long as she’s comfortable). You will, of course, need to provide meals.
