For Families:

  • Location (for matching purposes)
  • Details about your childcare needs 

 For Nannies: 

  • Name and contact details
  • ID verification documents
  • Work history and references
  • Certificates or qualifications (e.g., First Aid)
  • Profile and other photos 

Important: While we collect certain documents for verification purposes (e.g., ID, police check, certifications), we only sight these documents and record details such as expiry dates. We do not store them – they are deleted immediately after verification. 

For Everyone: 

  • Login details (username, password)
  • Messages and communication via our platform
  • Website usage (cookies, device info, IP address)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: 

  • Match families with suitable, verified nannies
  • Help nannies find the right jobs
  • Send you updates, messages, or service alerts
  • Improve our platform and customer experience
  • Keep our community safe

We never sell your information. 

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share information: 

  • With nannies or families when you’re matched (only necessary info)
  • With trusted service providers who help us run the platform (e.g., ID check services, hosting providers)  
  • When legally required (e.g., to comply with a court order) 

 We always ensure your data is protected when shared. 

5. How We Store and Protect Your Data

We store your data securely on encrypted servers. We take all reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. 

Only staff with a real need to access your data can do so. 

Note: All ID and certification documents provided by nannies are deleted after they are sighted – we do not retain copies. 

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: 

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Update or correct your details
  • Ask us to delete your account or data
  • Withdraw consent to receive emails or marketing

11. Facebook Login Information

If you choose to log in using Facebook Login, we receive the following information from Facebook (depending on your permissions):

  • Create and manage your Bali Nanny Co account

12. Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

If you have used Facebook Login and want us to delete your data obtained through Facebook, you can request this at any time.

Your request must include:

  • Your full name

  • The email connected to your Facebook account

  • Your Facebook User ID (if available)

Once your request is received, we will delete:

  • All data we collected from Facebook Login

  • Any associated authentication tokens

  • Your Bali Nanny Co account (if requested)

Deletion will be completed within 7 business days.

13. Google Login Information

If you choose to sign in using Google Login, we receive the following information from Google (depending on your permissions):

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your Google Account ID

  • Your profile photo (if available)

We use this information only to:

  • Create and manage your Bali Nanny Co account

  • Verify your identity

  • Provide login and authentication services

We do not use Google account data for advertising unless you separately consent.
We do not share your Google data with third parties except as required to operate the platform.

14. Google Data Deletion Instructions

If you used Google Login and want us to delete the data we obtained from your Google Account, you can request this at any time.

Once we receive your request, we will delete:

  • All data we collected from Google Login

  • Any authentication tokens associated with your Google account

  • Your Bali Nanny Co account (if requested)

Deletion will be completed within 7 business days.
